NORTH BEND — No one planned a Neil Simon festival in North Bend, but with productions of four of his plays scheduled in six months, it sure seems that way.

Coastal Douglas Has Talent!, a talent show and fundraiser for the Reedsport Rotary Club, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Pacific Auditorium in Reedsport. About a dozen performers of a variety of ages will compete, and PBA & the Hot Flashes will perform. $5. 271-5386, 271-2101.
“Barefoot in the Park” continues through Sunday at Theatre 101 in Port Orford. Newlyweds with divergent personalities adjust to their new life, eccentric neighbors and parents in this Neil Simon comedy. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. $10.
