County plans H1N1 clinic for next week

Coos County Public Health has received a shipment of H1N1 vaccine and will hold a special clinic next week to vaccinate people with chronic health conditions.
The county has about 200 doses that will be available at the North Bend Annex from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. To make an appointment, call 756-2020, ext. 580.
The department wants to target people ages 6 months to 64 years who have chronic health conditions, though they also will make vaccine available to pregnant women, healthcare and emergency personnel and children younger than 5.
