North Bend was rewarded for its perfect run through the Far West League in volleyball with both the league's player of the year, Alexandra Mateski, and its top coach, Les Willett.

Mateski, an outside hitter, was joined on the first team by North Bend setter Katie Banta and outside hitter Haley Dunham.

Siuslaw, which finished second in the league standings, was represented by setter Leigh Aruich and outside hitter Seabre Church.

Brookings-Harbor, the league's third state qualifier, was represented by libero Felicia Gutierrez and middle hitter Nicole Watterson.

North Bend libero Ashley Horlacher was on the second team, along with Siuslaw outside hitter Stacie Voogd and middle blocker Jenna Hanslits and Brookings-Harbor setter Briana Gutierrez.

Playoff teams Bandon, Coquille and Myrtle Point all were well-represented in the Sunset Conference all-league squad.

Cascade Christian standout Becca Sellers was the player of the year, but all five South Coast squads had a player on the first team.

Bandon's Grace Garrett, Coquille's Nikki Hall and Myrtle Point's Peyton Babb and Meghan Ross, all outside hitters, were on the first team, along with Reedsport's Eden Huebner and Gold Beach libero Lindsey McDonald.

The second team included Coquille middle hitter Taylor GeDeros and setter Chelsy Forbes, along with Bandon setter Kelsey Hinojosa, libero Marissa Ramos and outside hitter Karli Crook.

Coquille's Danielle McKinley was named coach of the year and Reedsport received the sportsmanship award.
