A celebration of life will be held for Jane Hill, 90, of Coos Bay, at 2 p.m., Saturday Nov. 14, at Nelson’s Bay Area Mortuary, 405 Elrod Ave., Coos Bay. Pastor Kenn Goslin will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

Marvin E. Fanno
71, or Broadbent, died Nov. 7, 2009, in Broadbent. Arrangements are pending with Coos Bay Chapel, 267-3131.

Graveside services will be held for Eldon F. Sewell, 93, of Powers, at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13, at the Powers Cemetery.

A chapel funeral service with full military honors provided by the American Legion Bay Area Post No. 34 will be held for John C. Thorhaven, 89, of Coos Bay, at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, at Coos Bay Chapel, 685 Anderson Ave., with Majors Cliff and Susan Jones  of the Salvation Army Worship and Service Center presiding. A private family graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Coos Bay. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon at the Salvation Army Worship and Service Center, 1155 Flanagan in Coos Bay following the services.

 Richard D. “Dick” Francis
A celebration of life will be held for Richard D. “Dick” Francis, 83, of Coos Bay, at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Coos Bay Eagles Lodge, 568 S. Second Ave., Coos Bay. Cremation rites were held under the direction of Nelson’s Bay Area Mortuary.
