Great photos, cartoon change

Monday, November 09, 2009 |
Not being much of a Kudos person, I was moved to send you this letter in thanks for the beautiful “Moon-shot” photo in the Nov. 3 issue of The World by Lou Sennick. He is truly a photo master. I love his action shots in the Sports section. The World Editorial staff deserves further kudos for replacing the comic strip Arlo and Janis with Grizzwells. Grizzwells has been running about a week, and I've had a laugh each day, which is about four more than I have had reading Arlo and Janis in the 17 years I've been in Oregon.
As a whole the comic page is just about excellent. Being a punster myself, I like Frank and Ernest. The definition of a pun is "The lowest form of humor — when someone else tells one." Keep up the good work.
