Pageant helped animal shelter

Monday, November 09, 2009 |
On Oct. 30, Life Care Center of Coos Bay hosted our first annual Pooch Pageant. This was a fundraiser to help out the Coos County Animal Shelter.
We wish to thank everyone involved for the event’s success. Thank you to Bi-Coastal, The World newspaper for their wonderful coverage, North Bend Umpqua Bank for donations, all the judges: Liz Miles, Bryan Kohl, Pat Van Wert and Jessica Thompson from Ocean Boulevard Veterinary Clinic, and our host, Kim Hall. Thanks to all the businesses that put up our flyers and to all of you that showed up, either as spectators or as contestants.
We would like to say a special thanks to Friends of the Coos County Animal Shelter and the Animal Shelter themselves. Thank you so very much for all that you do.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year.
