Medics took a Eugene woman to the hospital Sunday morning after she was injured in an ATV accident.
Coos County sheriff’s deputies, along with Hauser Fire and Rescue, responded to a single-vehicle ATV accident at the Horsfall area of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area at 8:50 a.m.
Sara Lawrence, 61, was riding with Rodney Lundy, 53, also of Eugene, when the accident occurred.
Medics transported Lawrence to Bay Area Hospital with a possibly broken ankle. A hospital spokeswoman said she was treated and released.
