A celebration of life will be held for Janet Lynn (Mayer) Johnson, 58, of Coos Bay, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Lakeside Community Church, 720 N. Eighth St. in Lakeside, with a potluck to follow at the church. 

 Georgiana Gamble Smithers
A celebration of life will be held for Georgiana Gamble Smithers, 81, of Coos Bay, at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Fourth and Highland in Coos Bay. The service and sacrament will be officiated by the Rev. Stephen Tyson and Georgiana’s granddaughter, the Rev. Rebecca Kirkpatrick. Cremation rites were held at Ocean View Memory Gardens Crematory in Coos Bay.

 Blanchard Irene Davis Lorsung
A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Blanchard “Blanche” Irene Davis Lorsung, 102, of Coos Bay, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Coos Bay Chapel, 685 Anderson Ave. with the Rev. Karl Schray, of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Pioneer I at Sunset Memorial Park, 63060 Millington Frontage Road in Coos Bay.
