Dennis Wayne Freeman

A memorial Mass will be held for Dennis Wayne Freeman, 62, of Roseburg at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 323 N. Comstock in Sutherlin.
Dennis was born March 11, 1947, in Eugene, to Don and Clara Freeman. His family believes he went to be with the Lord Oct. 23, 2009.
Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
He was well known for owning and operating Denny’s Pizza Parlor in Coquille for nearly 25 years. Dennis and his wife, Denise, moved to Roseburg in 2001. Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting and working on his land. Dennis loved his family and looked forward to family reunions. Dennis will be missed by many who loved him dearly.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Denise, who he married in 1992; eight wonderful children, Paula Kaveny, Suzi Steckel, Leah Freeman, Denise Bertrand, Melinda Barrera, Chris Gannon, Wesley Gannon and Alecea Freeman; his two sisters, Dona Shields of Eugene and Patti Peake of Monroe; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents in 2002; a daughter, Leah in 2000; and a brother Gary in 1980.
