North Bend Police arrested a Coos Bay man early this morning on car burglary charges at the Pony Village Mall.
The investigation began when an officer noticed a person acting suspiciously. He was dressed in all-black outside the business. At about 1:30 a.m., the officer reported the person ran from him on the southwestern side of the mall.
Officers found a man, later identified as 19-year-old Justyn E. Pruitt, and arrested him on unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, criminal trespassing, possession of burglary tools and second-degree theft. He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he remained this morning on $25,000 bail.
