South Coast squads make up half of the varsity teams for the Marshfield Invitational volleyball tournament on Saturday.
The tournament begins at 8 a.m., with matches in four different four-team pools. The event continues into the afternoon, with play in the championship and consolation brackets expected to tip off at 2 p.m.
Marshfield will be in the Purple Pool, with Douglas, Sutherlin and Bandon. The Gold Pool includes North Bend, South Medford, Gold Beach and Coquille. Both those pools will play their morning matches in Pirate Palace.
The Black Pool, which includes Crater, Del Norte, Valley Catholic and Reedsport, will play in the West Gym. The White Pool, featuring Dallas, Hidden Valley, Siuslaw and Myrtle Point, will play in the Harding Gym.
The top two teams from each pool will be in the championship bracket, with the other two in the consolation bracket.
The junior varsity tournament will be held at North Bend High School, with the JV2 tournament at the Southwestern Oregon Community College Rec Center.
Admission for all three events is $5 for adults and $3 for students, and concessions will be available at both Marshfield and North Bend.
