The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from police logs.
Coos Bay
• Oct. 12, 5:48 a.m., police took a 25-year-old man to the Coos County jail on a charge of domestic strangulation from a case in the 100 block of Marino Drive. He was cited and released.
• Oct. 12, 6:59 a.m., police cited a 33-year-old man with harassment after he punched holes in the wall of a house in the 1000 block of Noble Avenue.
• Oct. 12, 8:23 a.m., a group of kids were throwing rocks at a Southridge Apartment building, 355 S. Eighth Street.
• Oct. 12, 9:44 a.m., someone stole a bicycle with a motor attached to it out of a garage in the 400 block of Jackson Avenue.
• Oct. 12, 11:02 a.m., a doctor’s office received a threatening phone message in the 2000 block of 17th Street.
• Oct. 12, 12:04 p.m., a woman reported that a man harassed her in the parking lot behind Coos Art Museum.
• Oct. 12, 1:39 p.m., a gas card was stolen from the 900 block of Front Street.
• Oct. 12, 2:09 p.m., police caught 15 underage kids smoking in an alleyway near Ingersoll Avenue and 10th Street.
• Oct. 12, 2:33 p.m., police arrested an 18-year-old man for criminal trespassing and probation violation at Texaco, 392 S. Fourth St. He was being held at Coos County jail Tuesday morning without bail.
• Oct. 12, 4:15 p.m., an intoxicated man fell of his bicycle and hit his head on the railroad track behind Safeway.
• Oct. 12, 4:47 p.m., police cited a man for drinking on an unlicensed premise near Second Court alley and the Pedway.
• Oct. 12, 5:52 p.m., a group of homeless people built an illegal fire in the 200 block of Johnson Avenue.
• Oct. 12, 10:23 p.m., police cited a 19-year-old man for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 200 block of Student Way.
North Bend
• Oct. 12, 6:51 a.m., a hit-and-run was reported near Newmark and Cedar streets.
• Oct. 12, 4:57 p.m., a woman was walking around yelling for help at Ferry Road Park. Police said she wasn’t in danger.
• Oct. 12, 6:37 p.m., kids were throwing eggs at a dog in a backyard in the 1000 block of Garfield Street.
• Oct. 12, 6:40 p.m., two men got into a argument in the 2000 block of 11th Street.
Reedsport
• Oct. 12, 3:09 p.m., a man reported someone shot at his cat with a BB gun in the 1000 block of Fir Avenue.
• Oct. 13, 12:02 a.m., a bear was seen sitting in the roadway at Winchester Avenue and Sixth Street.
Coos County
• Oct. 12, 8:39 a.m., a prowler was heard in the 62000 block of Southwest 10th Street.
• Oct. 12, 9:42 a.m., someone broke into a shop in the 67000 block of North Bay Drive.
• Oct. 12, 11:27 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 92000 block of Dunes Lane.
• Oct. 12, 4:55 p.m., a man and woman were fighting inside a car in the 63000 block of Edward Road.
• Oct. 12, 7:32 p.m., a suspicious man tried to lure two kids to his vehicle with candy in the 63000 block of Harriett Road.
• Oct. 12, 10:29 p.m., a woman reported being harassed in the 91000 block of Main Lane.
