The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from police logs.
Coos Bay
• Oct. 9, 10:18 a.m., an 81-year-old woman was the victim of a telephone scam in the 900 block of Seagate Avenue.
• Oct. 9, 11:28 a.m., neighbors made numerous complaints of loud music in the 300 block of South 16th Street.
• Oct. 9, 1:25 p.m., police cited a 60-year-old woman on charges of public nuisance for her barking dog near 12th Court and 12th Street.
• Oct. 9, 1:41 p.m., someone stole a 90-year-old woman’s walker from BI-Mart, 550 S. Fourth St.
• Oct. 9, 2:04 p.m., a small fire was reported on a trail behind Blossom Gulch Elementary School.
• Oct. 9, 2:53 p.m., someone broke into a house and stole checks in the 100 block of Johnson Avenue.
• Oct. 9, 5:31 p.m., someone stole a pickup truck in the 300 block of Central Avenue.
• Oct. 9, 6:21 p.m., a man and woman were fighting in the 100 block of Cammann Street.
• Oct. 9, 7:56 p.m., a cell phone was stolen at Walmart, 2051 Newmark, Ave.
• Oct. 9, 8:30 p.m., a hit-and-run crash was reported in the 900 block of Newmark Avenue.
• Oct. 9, 9:37 p.m., a group of kids was fighting near Madison Street and Noble Avenue.
• Oct. 10, 9:34 a.m., a woman reported someone tried to break into her vehicle in the 1000 block of Webster Avenue.
• Oct. 10, 10:41 a.m., a woman was assaulted in the 1000 block of Maryland Avenue.
• Oct. 10, 11:12 a.m., someone dumped garbage illegally in the 300 block of Second Street.
• Oct. 10, 11:48 a.m., a group of homeless people camped in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Fir Street.
• Oct. 10, 2:08 p.m., a sex offender failed to register at a new address in the 100 block of Norman Avenue.
• Oct. 10, 7:43 p.m., someone shined a laser into a home in the 800 block of South Fifth Street.
• Oct. 11, 12:33 a.m., police arrested a 28-year-old woman on charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief at Maks Old City Hall Lounge. She was cited and released.
• Oct. 11, 1:17 a.m., police arrested a 34-year-old man for violating his parole and probation after a fight at the Silver Dollar Tavern, 479 Newmark Ave. He was still being held Monday morning at Coos County jail.
• Oct. 11, 2:36 a.m., a group of people was fighting in front of Mak’s Old City Hall Lounge.
• Oct. 11, 12:15 p.m., a woman reported she was being assaulted by her landlord in the 1000 block of Lund Avenue.
• Oct. 11, 12:23 p.m., someone broke into a vehicle and stole a wallet from inside in the 100 block of LaClair Street.
• Oct. 11, 1:50 p.m., a vehicle was struck in the parking lot of Safeway, 230 E. Johnson Ave.
• Oct. 11, 3:55 p.m., two people were shooting air soft guns at Southwest Boulevard and California Drive.
• Oct. 11, 4:22 p.m., police arrested a 38-year-old woman on a charge of theft after a shoplifting incident at Walmart. She was cited and released.
• Oct. 11, 6:18 p.m., a parked car was struck at Blue Moon, 871 S. Broadway St.
• Oct. 12, 1:45 a.m., a man was beaten up near McKay’s, 130 N. Cammann St.
North Bend
• Oct. 9, 11:38 a.m., someone stole a guitar out of a home in the 2000 block of Jackson Street.
• Oct. 9, 2:50 p.m., stalking was reported in the 2000 block of Everett Street.
• Oct. 9, 4:26 p.m., someone reported being threatened at Baycrest Village, 3959 Sheridan Ave.
• Oct. 9, 8:52 p.m., there was a road-rage incident near Harrison and Washington avenues.
• Oct. 9, 10:03 p.m., police warned two people for criminal trespassing at Airport Heights Park.
• Oct. 10, 12:31 a.m., police cited two 20-year-olds for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at State and Oak streets.
• Oct. 10, 12:49 a.m., a man riding his bicycle without a light was arrested on DUII charges near State and Oak streets.
• Oct. 10, 10:23 a.m., five gun shots were fired in the area of 13th and Oak streets.
• Oct. 11, 12:05 p.m., someone found a possible meth pipe in the 1200 block of Virginia Avenue.
• Oct. 11, 12:35 p.m., five shots were fired in the neighborhood of Montana Avenue and Lincoln Street.
• Oct. 11, 7:06 p.m., a man stole two bottles of alcohol from a store in the 2000 block of Newmark Street.
• Oct. 11, 8:59 p.m., an ATV was stolen in the 2000 block of Oak Street.
• Oct. 11, 6:13 p.m., a woman found four abandoned kittens in the bathroom at Simpson Park.
Coquille
• Oct. 9, 1:44 a.m., a prowler was reported in the 200 block of North Baxter Street.
• Oct. 10, 3:04 a.m., a woman was assaulted in the 700 block of Elliott Street.
• Oct. 10, 5:58 p.m., an intoxicated man was stumbling into traffic east of Coquille.
• Oct. 10, 6:57 p.m., a woman reported criminal trespassing in the 300 block of Folsom Street.
• Oct. 11, 4:27 p.m., a student’s bike was stolen from Coquille Valley School over the weekend.
• Oct. 11, 8:09 p.m., a neighbor threatened to feed a woman’s children to snakes in the 500 block of Collier Street.
Reedsport
• Oct. 9, 9:57 a.m., police cited a person for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 1000 block of Second Street.
• Oct. 9, 11:25 a.m., someone stole a rifle in the 200 block of Commercial Street.
• Oct. 9, 8:37 p.m., a driver was throwing beer cans out of the car and driving recklessly near U.S. Highway 101 and Longwood Drive.
• Oct. 10, 2:08 p.m., two men were fighting in the 400 block of Greenwood Avenue.
• Oct. 10, 7:03 p.m., a man broke his leg when he fell off a motorcycle in the 3000 block of Salmon Harbor Drive.
• Oct. 11., 3:16 p.m., a man thought he may have found a stolen motorcycle in woods off Lower Smith River.
Coos County
• Oct. 11, 3:39 a.m., a man stole a case of beer from 7-Eleven, 63033 Highway 101.
• Oct. 11, 1:31 p.m., illegal dumping was reported near Cameron Road and Wisconsin Avenue.
• Oct. 11, 3:18 p.m., a landlord reported that a tenant in the neighborhood of 63000 Martin Road maybe selling drugs.
• Oct. 11, 9:06 p.m., a woman was being threatened in her home in the 63000 block of Catching Road.
