Raising dough for the Clambake

The Sawdust Theatre and the Clambake Jazz Festival will present a Clambake Jazz Festival benefit concert/dance at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Coquille Community Building.
All proceeds will go to benefit the Clambake Jazz Festival’s 2010 show. This event will feature The Young Bucs and Soulpie for an evening of fun, dancing, doo-wop, blues and soul.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., ticket donations are $10 and are available at the door or at Off The Record in North Bend and Bree’s Upscale Resale in Coquille.
The South Coast Clambake Jazz Festival, founded in 1986, brings 12 bands to Oregon’s Adventure Coast to delight both dancers and listeners. Music will be played in different venues at the Red Lion Hotel, 1313 Bayshore Ave. and The Mill Casino-Hotel, 3201 Tremont, North Bend on March 12 through 14, 2010.
