When you compare Glenn Beck and Barrack Obama's education it does nothing for your argument.

Throwing Glenn Beck into the argument only benefits her insults, and then she has to throw in Sarah Palin to her spin and compares Obama's education? Really?
Go figure.

I refuse to argue with someone who actually takes what Glenn Beck has to say as truth.I might as well be arguing with my 7 year old,no wait at least he can discern between reality and fantasy.

Without health care reform costs will continue to go up while health will continue to go down. Putting people to work won't make them better, especially when most companies put people to work at less than 32 hours a week (which is generally what you have to work to GET BENEFITS).
As long as we continue to have this "Profit over people" mentality nothing will change. The Health Care Industry like the Military Industrial Complex like the Pharmaceutical Complex is about one thing Money. It doesn't matter if half the inhabitants of earth are dead in it's wake as long as it makes that quick buck right then and there..
When are we going to learn from our mistakes and actually put people first? As I continue to see all of these crazies come out of the woodwork ..I'm really starting to to think that answer is never.

There are bigger things needing RE-FORM in America:
Please spend my money to work on the repair of the US infrastructure… If INTERSTATES, SEWERS, POWER, BRIDGES, DRINKING WATER, and other basic services are not available, paying for healthcare just will not matter. These are things people see and really need everyday. Take the $2.5M and get America moving again.
Put my money toward these real reforms and it will put people to work, put people to work and they can afford healthcare. Put people to work and they will not have time to sit behind the TV getting fatter, lazier, and dumber. Put people to work and they will value what they earn… Give people stuff and they will just want for more.

Considering the number of cases, and the fact that breast cancer is the most common cancer in Canada, even if your statistics are accurate (which is questionable), there are many women who are detected early enough so as to be treated less aggressively, than in the US.
But I applaud you, since you don't want someone coming between you and your doctor, it's nice to know that you are wealthy enough to not need insurance. Otherwise, you're just a run-of-the-mill hypocrite, who has no problem allowing a corporate bureaucracy to come between you and your doctor. Frankly, though I question our government all the time, I trust them with my health, more than stockholders or CEOs.

And like it or not we don't have "the best health care in the world" Funny though I can tell you watch Glenn Beck he's been saying that same line for years :) Keep pushing the agenda for people who profit off of our death, poor sheeple.
NoGod wrote on Sep 6, 2009 12:54 AM:
And for the record it's not mandatory to get the government health care so stop complaining and yelling of socialism or communism you idiots wouldn't know either one if it bit you in the face...If I recall a certain Joe McCarthy brought on quite the red scare and look what happened to him.

Now they are selling out their nation yet again.
I guess the only way that you and I can get free health care is to move to Iraq, where our tax dollars ensure that every Iraqi can see a doctor and get treatment.

If medical care is so wonderful in Britain and France ( where 4000 women just gave birth in latrines, hallways, and on the street), in Canada (where Canadians come by the hundreds to the US for cancer treatment insteading of waiting for weeks until it is too late), and Sweden to name a few of the socialist health care systems, YOUR feet are not nailed to the ground, MOVE THERE!!
I bet that you will not leave the best health care system in the world.
Do we have some minor health insurance problems and stupid lawsuits gumming up the system? Sure, but why destroy a system that 85% of us like for a few. These problems could be solved by a good piece of legislation, but OBAMACARE is about CONTROL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Number one, they did pay for those benefits. SS was expanded to include Medicare. People rail against the greedy corporations, when it is the greedy Congressmen, both Dem and Rep, that have squandered the SS monies. They cannot stand to see a pot of money sitting there which they could be spending for nefarious projects in their own districts. And as for the militay, they paid for the benefits with blood sweat and tears. Constant sacrifices and years of seperation from their families. A contract was signed, in exchange for their service military members are provided certain benefits, one of which is medical care for themselves and their families. They didn't demand something for free that they have done nothing to earn.
Just because you state that something is a fact, does not make it so.
just saying

Yes. Vets deserve their medical benefits. It is government run healthcare, however. In fact, the military, where everything including housing, food, and medical bills is provided for them and their families, is run more like a socialist organization than anything else. That is who is protecting our country and they do a great job.
Medicare recipients "earn" their healthcare by having lived to the age of 65.
And none of the above paid for their own healthcare. A portion of their earnings weren't placed into a bank account until their retirement. In reality, people currently paying taxes supply all of the funds that pay for current recipients of government run/supplied healthcare. It is, in fact, a socialized program.
Just saying.

If Health Care Reform passes, it is going to put millions of people into the health care system that were not there before. But are the numbers of doctors, nurses and hospitals increasing? No. What we will get when we visit a doctor is what we get when we visit a Social Security Administration field office, "Do you have any guns or knives?"

These are not subsidized socialist programs, these are employer provided health care programs, or retirement benefits that have been paid for through their years of working. That is where the left is wrong, they try to portray these as socialized medicine, when that is just wrong. These sevices are provided for Federal employess, and retirees not a giveaway of benefits for those that have done nothing to earn them.

Want something better? It's out there in the rest of the First World countries. US medical stats are dismal compared to Europe and Japan. Let's get the best for our money that we can and talk real reform instead of letting the rightwingnuts toady for the corporate interests.
