Bandon teen is still critical
A Bandon High School student was listed in critical condition Monday, four days after a van hit him as ran across U.S. Highway 101 north of Port Orford. The hospital would not release any information on his condition this morning.

Assault
Coos Bay police arrested a Coquille man Monday afternoon after the Department of Human Services reported an assault in Coquille. Officers responded to the 800 block of Seabreeze Terrace where they charged Shawn Hazen, 30, with felony fourth-degree domestic assault. He was being held at Coos County jail this morning on $25,000 bail.
