People deserve and have a right to whatever they are willing to work for, including access to health care.
And if others are not so fortunate as you to have been raised well, to H with them AND their children?
I saw a room-full of white Christians erupt last night at the THOUGHT of providing health care for ALL . Including children of illegal immigrants. My guess they would ALL tell ya they are Christians. Wowsa.
One Native Am. woman put them to shame with her gentle words about being born poor, and wanting to care for all those less fortunate.
Guess not old Marines.

How about online complaints at the states website. I have complained 3 times already. After that appeared to go no where, I made a telephone call to the Newmark Center, asked for someone who deals with Fraud, reported what I knew to be fact. Nothing has been done. They both still get their benefits. The phone call was 8 months ago. How many 1000's of dollars go wasted because these cows are allowed to graze. DO YOUR JOB!

Now, who - in their right mind - wants to defend this absolutely moronic push for votes just prior to an election year?

Frankly, I'm looking forward to being able to immediately go see a dentist and get the root canal I need immediately rather than having to save up for it because my insurance company only pays a small share of it. I'd rather my taxes went to healing people who need it than killing some brown folk around the world and creating more terrorists.

You get sick you go to a doctor you show them a card you go home.. That's what health care for all is about.. That's how it is in Canada( been there have relatives who live there) that's how it is in England etc...etc...etc..
Why you continue to help companies and politicians who don't care about you unless you make 200k a year is beyond me..
Oh and here's a funny story:
China is spending billions of dollars too and guess what? They will have universal health care before us!! We're #1!! er..#2? no wait..that's right we're #40 something!!!

Health is at the top of the list. If you health is depleted, then your life options are depleated. Presently, with our existing health care system, there are many of us that have lost their health insurance and/or can't afford to get it. Insurance and pharmaceutical companies have put money and profits, before people. If you pleased with this, I suppose your'e against health care reform and change. If not, then let's consider more, humanistic values and caring. I would rather have government involved with making my health care decisions, than Wall Street.

You are indeed a product of the Democratic smear machine. You state "drug companies are spending about $1.4 million a day to sabatoge health care reform." From the AP 8/8/09:“The nation's drug makers stand ready to spend $150 million to help President Barack Obama overhaul health care this fall, according to numerous officials.
The White House and allies in Congress are well aware of the effort by Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, a somewhat surprising political alliance, given the industry's recent history of siding with Republicans and the Democrats' disdain for special interests.
The campaign, now in its early stages, includes television advertising under PhRMA's own name and commercials aired in conjunction with the liberal group, Families USA.
Numerous people with knowledge of PhRMA's plans said it would likely reach $150 million and perhaps $200 million, saying they were not authorized to divulge details.
At the same time, drug makers are counting on the White House to block efforts by House Democrats to extract more than $80 billion from their industry in the legislation."

Millitary spending in general flies through the roof: the republicans are silent. BushCo hands over billions of dollars to the banks and insurance companies: the republicans don't care. The Democrats try to give us all better health care: the republicans come unglued like little children before a nap.
Stop playing politics, stop interrupting town hall meetings, and start trying to contribute good ideas to further our nation's recovery out of the darkness that was the Bush administration. Disrupting town hall meetings prohibits true debate, and is anti-democratic. The religious-right are out of ideas, direction, and power so they've resorted to disruption; sounds very anti-American to me. They need to be stopped.

Do you think it could possibly be lobbyists, working on behalf of the health care industry, whom are most likely frothing at the mouth over the prospect of the millions of uninsured Amercians that will (either by way of government mandate or government subsidy) be purchasing health insurance if the current plan goes through?
