Soulpie

This collaboration of  experienced musicians will perform a free concert Saturday at Shore Acres State Park. Their rhythm is a synthesis of musical traditions from the jazz-influenced sounds of New York City to soul and blues of Chicago and Memphis. Members include Martin Abts, Michael Brumit, Kevin Freeman, Shelly Freeman, Lynn Fulps, Jardin Kazaar, Mary Luther, Amber Mareski, Doro Reeves, Kai Sandoval, Kelly Sanford, Stacy Tate and Bill Wiggins.

Inner Limits

Inner Limits is a Latin-influenced jazz trio from Eugene. The band aims to appeal to sophisticated audiences with its technique and casual listeners with its intensity. The trio will play Sunday at the OIMB Boathouse, 63466 Boat Basin Road, Charleston.

Darrell Grant & Co.

Playing an array of folk, jazz, rock, rhythm and blues, Darrell Grant’s six-man jazz group On the Territory will perform Wednesday at Black Market Gourmet, covering songs by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Lennon, James Taylor, and the Neville Brothers, as well as originals.
