The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
• July 8, 7:54 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported in an apartment in the 1100 block of Anderson Avenue.
• July 8, 8:09 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported at Safeway, 230 E. Johnson Ave.
• July 8, 8:14 a.m., someone broke into a vehicle and stole a radar detector in the 500 block of 10th Avenue.
• July 8, 10:54 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Wall Street. A propane tank was taken from a shed.
• July 8, 11:42 a.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported at Blossom Gulch Elementary School, 333 S. 10th St.
• July 8, 12:12 p.m., a family fight was reported in the 1600 block of Newmark Avenue.
• July 8, 12:59 p.m., someone stole bicycle parts off a back porch and broke into a house in the 1400 block of Newmark Avenue.
• July 8, 2:28 p.m., a theft was reported in the 1000 block of North Bayshore Drive.
• July 8, 4:50 p.m., five birth certificates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of South Cammann Street.
• July 8, 5:17 p.m., a man driving a pickup drove off without paying for about $20 worth of gas at the Coos Bay Shell gas station, 1064 Evans Blvd.
• July 8, 5:37 p.m., an illegal burn was reported in the 1700 block of North Eighth Street.
• July 8, 7:24 p.m., a fight was reported near the intersection of Grant Avenue and North Main Street.
• July 8, 8:16 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 400 block of North Main Street.
• July 8, 8:48 p.m., a fight was reported in the 500 block of Schetter Avenue.
• July 8, 10:09 p.m., an illegal burn was reported in the 2400 block of Ocean Boulevard.
• July 8, 10:21 p.m., more than a dozen children were yelling and screaming at Madison Elementary School, 400 Madison Ave. A woman who asked them to be quiet told police the children were very disrespectful.
North Bend
• July 8, 10:33 a.m., a family dispute was reported in the 1700 block of McPherson Avenue.
• July 8, 10:47 a.m., a vehicle was egged in the 2100 block of California Avenue.
• July 8, 11:44 a.m., a Native American flag and pole, statues, glass ball and other items were stolen out of a front yard in the 1800 block of Pine Street.
• July 8, 11:48 a.m., someone stole engine parts and batteries in the 1300 block of Airport Lane.
• July 8, 12:04 p.m., a woman reported a possible drug deal in a parking lot in the 1700 block of Virginia Avenue.
• July 9, 2:01 a.m., a family dispute was reported in the 2200 block of Meade Avenue.
Coquille
• July 8, 5:22 p.m., a man was harassing people outside Safeway, 155 E. First St.
Reedsport
• July 8, 9:37 p.m., a bear was reported in the 3600 block of Frontage Road.
• July 8, 10:27 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred in the 3000 block of Greenbriar Street. No one was injured, police said.
Bandon
• July 7, 2:48 p.m., a theft was reported at Bullards Beach State Park.
