Youth Sports: Winterhawks to hold floor hockey clinic

Local boys and girls in grades 1-8 will have a chance to learn to play hockey Wednesday, July 15, at the Portland Winterhawks Amateur Hockey floor hockey clinic.
The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club is putting on the clinic at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon. The clinic runs from 9 to 11 a.m., with a tournament planned from 1 to 3 p.m.
Club membership is not required to participate. The participation fee is $3.
SeaBreeze campsThe SeaBreeze Cheerleading Camp, directed by Southwestern Oregon Community College cheer coach Kailie Mill, is scheduled for July 13 to 16 at Pierce Court at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon.
Registrations are being accepted now, and the fee is $45 with a current club membership.
Ten sessions of Junior Tennis Camp are planned for June, July and August. All sessions will run Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for boys and girls age 14 and younger.
The fee is $50 for each session with a current club membership.
