Mayor’s Firecracker Run — Saturday, July 4, starting at 10 a.m. at Mingus Park in Coos Bay. Events include a 1-mile kids run and 4-kilometer race that includes the paved trail around the pond and gravel and dirt trails in the park. For more information, call Rex Miller at 269-1199.
Kentuck Run — Saturday, July 11, starting at 8:30 a.m. along Kentuck Inlet 4 miles past Kentuck Golf Course. Events include 15-kilomter and 5-kilometer runs, as well as a 1-mile kids run. Event is a fundraiser for Soroptimists of Coos Bay. The entry fee is $9 for the long races and $3 for the kids run. Upcoming Road Races on the South Coast

Mayor’s Firecracker Run — Saturday, July 4, starting at 10 a.m. at Mingus Park in Coos Bay. Events include a 1-mile kids run and 4-kilometer race that includes the paved trail around the pond and gravel and dirt trails in the park. For more information, call Rex Miller at 269-1199.
Kentuck Run — Saturday, July 11, starting at 8:30 a.m. along Kentuck Inlet 4 miles past Kentuck Golf Course. Events include 15-kilomter and 5-kilometer runs, as well as a 1-mile kids run. Event is a fundraiser for Soroptimists of Coos Bay. The entry fee is $9 for the long races and $3 for the kids run.
