Bead jewelry missing from Florence library

Florence police are searching for clues after someone stole four pieces of jewelry from the Siuslaw Public Library. The items were made by Florence-area bead artists and had been on display at the library, 1460 Ninth St. Police learned of the jewelry's disappearance June 24.
The Crime Stoppers Cascade/Siuslaw Stop Crime is offering up to $500 for help in recovering the stolen jewelry and arresting the thief.

Siuslaw Stop Crime continues to investigate an armed robbery that happened in February at the Beachcomber Tavern, 1355 Bay St. Police are offering a $10,000 award for information in that case.
