Triathlon begins Saturday

The Ocean Fest Triathlon Races will be Saturday, July 18, in Winchester Bay.
One-, two- or three-person teams can compete in kayaking, running and mountain bike races. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. on Coho Point. The race includes a 4-mile kayak race, 8-mile biking leg and a 4-mile run through Salmon Harbor. The winner will be determined by total times.
The entry fee is $50 per team or $20 per leg. Proceeds will go the Gardiner-Reedsport Lions Club's Vision Assistance program.
