The Coos Bay Public Library will continue its Friday Foreign Film series at 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, with the show "Picture Bride" (Japan/USA, 1994).

The love story follows the struggles of a young Japanese woman, who is a mail-order bride, a press release said. Once the bride arrives in Hawaii, she discovers that the man and situation were not all that was promised.

The "Friday Foreign Film" series is normally held on the second Friday of the month and is free to the public.  Many of these films are not rated and parental discretion is advised. For more information, call 269-1101.
