The North Bend football team has scheduled its summer weight lifting program.

Weight training sessions will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on July 2, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 27, 28 and 30, and Aug. 10, 11 and 13.

Offensive mini camps will be held following the weight-room workouts on July 2, 9 and 14. Defensive minicamps will be held following the workouts on July 6, 13 and 16.

On those days without minicamps, a short speed session will follow the weight training.

North Bend also will send a team of players to the Gold Beach camp on July 19-23.

No activities will be held during the week of Aug. 2-9, which has been designated as a moratorium week by the Oregon School Activities Association, when no regular school workouts can be held in any sport.

The Bulldog Big Brother Camp is set for Aug. 17-20 at Vic Adams Field. Daily doubles will start on Aug. 24.

For more information, call Rick Taylor at (541) 260-9347 or check out the football team’s Web page at www.northbendfootball.com.
