Sandblasters lose two

Three Rivers struggled to a pair of losses this week, including the first defeat for pitcher Bryce Weidman.
The Sandblasters fell 7-2 to Withnell Dodge on Wednesday, suffering their third Zone 3 loss, as Weidman was beaten for the first time this summer.
On Thursday, the Eugene Challengers beat the Sandblasters 10-7 in Florence in a nonleague game.
Kyle Davis was the losing pitcher for Three Rivers, but five of the runs scored off him were unearned due to six errors by the Sandblasters.
Cole Skriver had a home run, one of 14 hits by Three Rivers.
The Sandblasters visit the Challengers for a doubleheader today.
