Police arrest Coos Bay man on kidnapping-related charges

Officers arrested a Coos Bay man Monday after a woman called in what she thought was suspicious behavior.
The woman told police she saw an incident a near the intersection of Kingwood Avenue and Bayshore Drive. Officers arrested Eric K. Danielson, 40, on charges of second-degree kidnaping and first-degree criminal mistreatment involving a 68-year-old woman.
Danielson was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was being held this morning on $125,000 bail. No further information was available.
