A motorcyclist was hurt in a one-vehicle accident on the Isthmus Slough Bridge in Eastside this morning.

Just after midnight dispatchers got two calls reporting the crash.

Coos Bay Capt. Gary McCullogh said the motorcyclist, Joseph Sherman, 33, was taken to Bay Area Hospital and then may have been flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend in Eugene. A Bay Area Hospital spokesman said this morning Sherman was no longer at the hospital.

No further information was available.
