Winchester Bay woman arrested on drug charges

Police arrested a Winchester Bay woman Wednesday after a traffic stop.
At about 11:03 p.m., an officer pulled over Belinda K. Dopson on U.S. Highway 101 near Reedsport West Road, according to the Reedsport police log. As a result of the stop, the officer arrested Dopson on charges of driving under the influence, possession of methamphetamine, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
She was taken to the Reedsport jail, where she was being held on $72,500 bail this morning while awaiting transfer to the Roseburg jail.
