Meet this week's dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World's feature, "Pets of the Week."
A reference number is provided with the photo for each pet. This week's pets are:
• Susie, a young adult American bulldog/ Staffordshire terrier mix. Volunteers say she's adorable and very sweet. Her case number is D09-121. As Dog of the Week her adoption includes a low-cost spay.
• Talula, an adult spayed female longhair cat. She's described as beautiful, affectionate and outgoing. As Cat of the Week her adoption includes a special package. Her case number is C217.
As to last week's featured pets, families adopted both Amanda, the calico cat and Whip, a terrier mix.
The Coos County Animal Shelter is at 92960 Southport Road in Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
