Water main break floods RV park

The Coho Marina RV Park manager in Reedsport had a soggy mess in his yard Tuesday night and this morning after a road work crew accident damaged a water main.
Manager Art Ratcliff said the crew working on sidewalk repairs on U.S. Highway 101 hit the main at about 10:30 p.m. Water started flooding his yard and a field behind his house at 1580 Winchester Ave.
“They had me muddied in this morning,” he said.
A city water department crew worked on the line through the night and had it repaired early today, Ratcliff said.
“They have it pretty well under control this morning,” he said.
