Dance lessons
MarLo Dance Studio will host couple’s dance lessons from instructor Brit Anders from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, June 3, 5, 10 and 12. Teaming with MarLo instructor Maria Merriem, Anders will give one lesson on Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha and Swing. Call 347-4616 for more information or to register.
Open house
The four local congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses invite the community to an Open House of their recently built Kingdom Halls at 1800 Waite St. in North Bend.
The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and will include light refreshments, tours and photographs of the construction, a press release said. No religious services will be held. This is an opportunity for the community to see the meeting halls that were “quick” built over a nine-day period in May. E-mail

Demonstration
Books by the Bay will host a demonstration with author and healing teacher Lynn Mystic-Healer from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the store, 1875 Sherman Ave., in North Bend. Mystic-Healer is a 33-year veteran of peace work and has authored three books; “Dreams, Past Lives, Holy Spirits, Your Soul,” “Angles Know All” and “Spiritual 911 Healing Handbook & DVD” and six CDs on mental health a press release said.
