Brookings names top students for 2009

The Brookings-Harbor High School graduation is at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Elmer Bankus Field.
Valedictorians
Kayla Hamm and Zoey Silver, both with a 4.0. Kayla is planning to attend Linfield College in McMinnville. Zoey will attend Oregon State University in Corvallis.
Salutatorian
Kyle Byers earned a 3.93 grade-point average. He will attend the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.
Academic Excellence
Also during the graduation ceremony, the school will honor other top students, including: Taylor Keys (3.9 GPA), Rebecca Chierichetti (3.89), Molly Moncrief (3.833), Lizeth Ochoa (3.833), Haley Fleshman (3.830), Trevor Fleshman (3.81), Alexandra Ambrose (3.80) and Danielle Olson (3.80).
