Medicare class

A free, two-hour class titled “Medicare ABC and Ds” will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lakeview rooms E and F, Empire Hall at Southwestern Oregon,1988 Newmark Ave., in Coos Bay. Call 888-7395 to register.
The program will provide information about Medicare benefits as well as education on the Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance program (SHIBA). SHIBA is sponsored by Medicare and the state of Oregon. The program produces “user friendly” materials that explain health plan and drug coverage choices. These materials will be provided at the class.
