Marshfield High School's graduation is set for June 6 at the school's gymnasium in Coos Bay.

Valedictorians
Kelsey Flathers is the daughter of Vickie Matson and Robert Flathers, of Coos Bay, formerly of Burns. She was a member of the Key Club — treasurer in 11th grade — National Honor Society and British Exchange. She received her swimming letter for the last three years and was a Mr. MHS senior girl.
Kelsey plans to attend the University of Chicago and possibly major in anthropology or environmental science.
Brianna George is the daughter of Robert and Tina George of Coos Bay and the sister of Nathan and Brady George. She was on the varsity basketball and softball teams, where she was honored with being placed on the All League First Team for basketball in the 2008-09 season and on the softball 2007-08 season. She also was a member of the National Honor Society.
Brianna plans to attend Southwestern Oregon Community College to work toward an education degree.
Diana Avila Montenegro is the daughter of Melvin L. and Xiomara C. King of Coos Bay. During her time at MHS she was the president of the Invisible Children Club and Latino Pirates and vice president of the National Honor Society. She has received the Science Department award, Breakfast for Champion award and was on the honor roll.
Diana plans to attend Southwestern Oregon Community College, then transfer to Oregon State University to major in engineering.
Moriah Roberge is the daughter of Peter and Christine Roberge and the sister of Monica, Celina, Muriel and Adam Roberge. She participated in track, basketball and cross country and was involved with Mr. MHS and the National Honor Society.
Moriah plans to attend San Diego State University and participate in track and field, while majoring in criminology.
Salutatorian
Sarah Woods is the daughter of Dr. James and Mary Woods of Coos Bay. While attending MHS she participated in Key Club, Tri-M, National Honor Society, New Horizons Jazz Choir and Concert Choir where she was the soprano section leader and the dance team for three years. She was chosen to be on the All-State team for 5A school her senior year. She received an OSAA Scholar-Athlete award and was the MHS December Girl of the Month.
Sarah plans to attend Oregon State University, majoring in animal science with a pre-vet option.
