Bandon High School hosts graduation June 6 at Otis K. Murray Court in the high school gym.

Valedictorians
Gerald Davis is the son of Dan and Celia Davis. He plans to attend Oregon Institute of Technology to major in engineering.
Gerald has been a member of the concert band for four years, is in National Honor Society and vice president of his class. He’s also run cross country and participated in track.
Tatiana Havill is the daughter of Mark Havill and Vicki Affatati of Bandon. Tatiana will be attending the University of Oregon, majoring in graphic design. She was vice president of her junior class and student body treasurer. Tatiana served as editor of the newspaper. She is treasurer of the National Honor Society, and a member of the BHS Speech Team.
Tyler Park is the son of Chris and Glenda Park of Bandon. Tyler will attend Oregon State University.
Tyler has received Outstanding Biology Student Award, Outstanding Health Student Award, Physical Science Award, Algebra II Award and an Honors English Award. Tyler is vice president of the National Honor Society.
Tyler also has been active in basketball, soccer, cross country and golf.
Cole Scherer is the son of Guy and Noni Scherer of Bandon. Cole will attend Oregon State University in environmental engineering.
He is the Associated Student Body vice president. He’s a member of the Honor Society and the Talented and Gifted program. He also has been a member of the Outdoor Club and competed in track and cross country.
Alex Sylvester is the son of Jim and Holly Sylvester of Bandon. He will attend the University of Oregon, majoring in education.
Alex competes on the Bandon High School speech team. He has been a member of the swing choir for three years. He is an energetic member of both the dance team and cheerleading squad.
Ayla-Mae Vedder is the daughter of Karen Vedder of Bandon. She has been accepted into the architectural program at the University of Oregon.
She has spent her summers participating in the Upward Bound Program.
She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Talented and Gifted program. Ayla-Mae has participated in cross country and track.
Salutatorians
Clarissa Castaldi is the daughter of John Castaldi and Susan D’Amico of Bandon. She will be attending George Fox University to study history.
Clarissa participated in the United Nations Pilgrimage through the Odd Fellows Organization. She is senior class treasurer and served as secretary with Honor Society.
Clarissa is a member of the swing choir, speech team and co-editor of the newspaper. She is a member of this year’s Cranberry Court.
Briana Valentine is the daughter of Patrick and Lina Valentine of Bandon. She has enrolled at Southwestern Oregon Community College with plans for dual enrollment at Oregon State University, to major in veterinary medicine.
Briana has earned many academic awards and serves as senior class secretary.
Briana is an accomplished athlete and plays volleyball, basketball and track.
Ashley Tobiska is the daughter of Dan and Cindy Tobiska of Bandon. She plans to attend Linfield College to major in exercise and sports science.
She is a member of the Talented and Gifted program and Honor Society. She participated in speech team, Spanish club, track and field and golf.
She is a Cranberry Court princess and was on the Coos County Youth Summit planning committee.
Ashley Powell is the daughter of Chris and Kim Powell of Bandon. She will attend the University of Oregon to become an elementary school teacher.
She has served as class treasurer and is in the Talented and Gifted program. She is a member of the Spanish and outdoor clubs. Ashley also is a member of the Cranberry Court.
