Crews rescue two from Mount Hood

GOVERNMENT CAMP (AP) - A climber briefly knocked unconscious after a 500-foot fall near the summit of Mount Hood was one of two people rescued from the peak over the weekend.
Members of Portland Mountain Rescue and an American Medical Response Reach and Treat team reached 54-year-old John Creager of Milwaukie Sunday morning on the mountain's south side at the 10,600-foot level He had face, arm and leg injuries.
KATU-TV said that on Saturday 34-year-old Jessica Deans of Portland was hit by falling ice and debris, causing injury to both legs.
Members of her climbing party moved her to Palmer Glacier and were met by search and rescue crews.
