EUGENE (AP) - The window for driving the Old McKenzie Highway will be smaller than usual this year.

The west side of the road, also known as Highway 242, will be closed until August.
The east side, between Sisters and Dee Wright Observatory, will open once plows finish clearing the road later this month. That section, however, will close for construction between early July and August.
