The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.

Coos Bay

• May 4, 9:02 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 1000 block of Elrod Avenue.

• May 4, 9:27 p.m., someone stole a cell phone from the 200 block of North Wasson Street.

• May 4, 10:37 p.m., someone stole gas near Flanagan and Morrison avenues.

• May 5, 6:49 a.m., a dispute was reported in the 1700 block of Newmark Avenue.

• May 5, 10:21 a.m., three men were cited for drinking alcohol in public, outside Safeway, 230 E. Johnson Ave.

• May 5, 1:10 p.m., a forged prescription was reported at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.

• May 5, 5:11 p.m., someone stole a wedding ring at Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road. The ring was valued at $10,000.

• May 5, 8:35 p.m., a CD player was stolen from Southridge Apartments, 355 S. Eighth St.

• May 5, 9:13 p.m., a stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Wall Street.

• May 5, 10:15 p.m., a family dispute was reported near the intersection of Hall Avenue and Broadway.

• May 6, 9:02 a.m., a possible phone scam was reported in the 800 block of South Second Street.

• May 6, 1:39 p.m., theft was reported in the 900 block of Elrod Avenue.

• May 6, 1:40 p.m., two people were seen taking metal from railroad tracks in the 61300 block of Highway 101.

• May 6, 3:47 p.m., theft was reported at Marshfield High School, 1098 Ingersoll Ave.

• May 6, 4:15 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1000 block of Newmark Avenue.

• May 6, 4:16 p.m., a cell phone was lost or stolen from Marshfield High School, 1098 Ingersoll Ave. Estimated loss, $100.

• May 6, 5:18 p.m., roaming dogs were reported in the 200 block of South Marple Street.

• May 6, 6:38 p.m., a dog chased a child in the 200 block of South Schoneman Street.

• May 7, 1:44 a.m., a woman was caught urinating near Walt's Pourhouse, 1880 N. Seventh St.

North Bend

• May 4, 11:20 a.m., someone stole a phone from the 3300 block of Broadway Avenue.

• May 4, 9:04 a.m., orange traffic cones were blowing onto driving lanes on the McCullough Bridge.

• May 5, 3 a.m., someone broke a lock on a fence, a window and stole a tool box tote from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Newmark Street.

• May 5, 12:49 p.m., a vehicle's tires were slashed while parked outside Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave.
