North Bend police arrested a Coos Bay man Thursday after a fight between a man and a woman at the Pony Village Mall.
Police went to the Rent-A-Center parking lot, 1611 Virginia Ave., according to the police log. The woman had left before the officers arrived, but police arrested the man, Lloyd Pearson, 50, on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license and possession of methamphetamine. Capt. Ron Akers said officers found a pipe with meth residue in it.
He was taken to the Coos County jail, where he was released Thursday afternoon.
