Christine Toribio will be graduating Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University in May with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and a concentration in reading.

Christine attended North Bend High School and North Carolina School of the Arts, and is the daughter of Blake and Carolyn Thompson of North Bend, and Edward Toribio of Ketchikan, Alaska.
