Sunset principal takes Hermiston position

Sunday, April 26, 2009 |
Sunset Middle School’s principal is heading to Eastern Oregon. The Hermiston School Board hired Jon Mishra this week as its middle school principal.
Mishra filed a letter of resignation with the Coos Bay School District after he was assigned to serve as dean of students at Marshfield High School.
At the time, he said he considered himself a middle school person but would be willing to make the move to Marshfield.
Mishra took over as Sunset principal in 2006. He’ll remain there through June, and Dale Inskeep will lead Sunset this fall.
