Kyle Electric branches out — opens drug testing company

Sunday, April 19, 2009 |
Kyle Electric Inc. of North Bend recently created a new drug-testing company, Kyle’s Koastal Screening.
The company was formed when a tenant in the Kyle Electric building, Koastal Screening, closed its business.
Today, more companies do pre-employment drug testing and continue with random testing to ensure that their employees are drug free, a press release said. This also helps employers to qualify for better insurance rates.
The new business offers urine tests and breath alcohol tests in compliance with federal regulations.
It’s located at 400 Virginia Ave., Suite 208, in North Bend, and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a 24-hour emergency answering service in case clients need a post-accident test. Appointments aren’t required. The company also can arrange for on-site testing for companies.
