Stufflebean recall on IBO forum agenda

Sunday, April 12, 2009 |
The attempted recall of Coos County Commissioner Kevin Stufflebean will be the topic for next week’s Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Independent Business Operators luncheon forum Wednesday in North Bend.
Stufflebean and chief petitioner Larry Van Elsberg will speak for the hour-long event. It will feature opening statements in which each party will cover issues, concerns and a vision for Coos county. They also will be asked to answer the question “How does this recall impact business success and future opportunities?”
That will be followed by a question-and-answer period responding to written questions from the audience. A short closing statement by each participant will end the forum.
The forum lunch will be held at 11:30 in the Salmon Room at The Mill Casino-Hotel. To reserve a seat, call the chamber at 266-0868. The luncheon is open to anyone who is interested.
