The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
• April 8, 7:48 a.m., a gunshot was heard in the 400 block of Shorepines at about 4 a.m.
• April 8, 8:34 a.m., money was stolen at the Coquille Tribal Community Center.
• April 8, 12:49 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 600 block of South Wasson Street.
• April 8, 2:19 p.m., theft was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Montgomery Avenue.
• April 8, 2:37 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported near Bayshore Drive and Curtis Avenue.
• April 8, 3:20 p.m., criminal mischief was reported in the 1100 block of Michigan Avenue.
• April 8, 4:48 p.m., two boys were skateboarding under Coos Bay City Hall, 500 Central Ave.
• April 8, 9:34 p.m., a rifle was on the hood of an abandoned vehicle on E Street between Fifth and Sixth streets.
• April 8, 9:51 p.m., a prowler was reported in the 300 block of South Ninth Street.
• April 8, 11:47 p.m., a fight was reported at Walt's Pour House, 1880 N. Seventh St.

• April 8, 12:02 a.m., a cocker spaniel was limping down the 1600 block of Arthur Street.
• April 8, 7:29 a.m., burglary was reported at a home in the 2400 block of Pine Street.
• April 8, 8:26 a.m., drugs and other suspicious items were seized at Oak Street Park.
• April 8, 1:07 p.m., bad checks were reported at 7-Eleven, 1988 Virginia Ave.
• April 8, 1:56 p.m., eight juveniles were drinking alcohol in the 1500 block of 16th Street.
• April 8, 11:48 p.m., a fight was reported in the 1800 block of North Seventh Street.

• April 8, 10:53 a.m., a woman and her dog were chased by a vicious pit bull near North Elliott and East Third streets.

• April 8, 1:31 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 2400 block of Longwood Drive.
• April 8, 11:24 p.m., property damage was reported in the 2800 block of Longwood Drive.

• April 8, 2:45 a.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 63000 block of U.S. Highway 101.
• April 8, 11:58 a.m., animal neglect was reported in the 64500 block of Duling Road.
