The U.S. Small Business Administration and its partners are ready to help small businesses cope with and survive this tough economic climate. A free workshop, Tips to Survive and Thrive in a Challenging Economy, will be held 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the Southwestern Oregon Community College campus in Coos Bay, Room Lakeview E at the Empire Hall/Performing Arts Center.
If you are thinking about launching a new business, growing a current one, or struggling to keep your doors open, then attending this workshop is a must, a press release said.
Dennis Lloyd, lead lender relations specialist for SBA, will facilitate a panel of business advisors and lenders who will provide tips on: how to respond to the current credit market; where to go for help; critical steps to secure capital for your business; and how to take a proactive stance now.
