Thursday, April 02, 2009 |
The League of Women Voters of Coos County will host a talk this Saturday, as part of the group's study of the "Fresh Water Resources of Coos County," which will be published later this year.
Coos Bay/North Bend Water Board General Manager Rob Schab will make the presentation at 9:30 a.m. at 3229 Broadway, North Bend.
The report will detail information on resources of cities and some small community water facilities. As with all of the League of Women Voters studies, it will be the the basis for members to agree upon a list of positions or opinions on which the group can act in the future, a press release said.
Schab has been the general manager of the Coos Bay/North Bend Water Board for more than 15 years.
