Officials seek input on transit facility

Coos County commissioners are requesting comments on a proposed secure transit vehicle storage facility and dispatch office at 2810 28th St. in Coos Bay. Coos County Area Transit wants to acquire the facility via the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Capital Program.
Written comments must be received by 9 a.m., Tuesday, to the Coos County Commissioners Office, 250 North Baxter St., Coquille, OR 97423; or by commenting at the public meeting scheduled at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the commissioners courtroom in the Coos County Courthouse in Coquille.
