Obama SUPPORTS reinstating the assault weapons ban: expired 2004, Bush administration. This covered some NOT all military style, semi-automatic firearms. Fully automatic assault rifles remain illegal in most cases.
NO bullets=Two issues.
1. 18 states have enacted legislation mandating "bullet encoding". This involves applying unique serial numbers on a handgun's base. Assault weapons and corresponding bullets will have an identical number on cartridge's case. This STATE-proposed legislation calls for dealers of encoded ammunition to record purchaser's personal information. Non-encoded ammunition must be disposed of by 1.1.2011. Thus most gun owners can keep buying ammo. Law enforcement will find this useful in solving gun related crimes.
2. YES, there is an ammo shortage. WHY? Gun enthusiasts have created it by excessively purchasing ammunition based upon misinformation. Sounds like possible market manipulation by ammunition corporations thus creating massive profits off fearful Americans.
Do you need MORE ammunition? You might want to remember we are at WAR. Our troops depend upon the same manufacturers to protect our country. Excessive purchasing may well place a soldier directly in harms way.

“Elevated Deficits Are Beneficial”
“During an economic downturn like we’re experiencing the deficit gets elevated which is not only natural, it’s beneficial because it helps bring the economy back up to the potential output level. In other words, the key problem we face right now is the gap between how much the economy could produce and how much it is producing. The whole point of the Recovery Act is to fill in that gap and part of that means a temporary elevated deficit.”

Obama and his socialist "one world" approach to how we should fit into things scares me enough as it is. His cabinet appointees are even worse. The Treasury head...wants to seize businesses that are failing. Um...you have a right to fail in this country. Or succeed. The socialists are coming full circle..they want to punish success AND failure!

Face it, right wingers have trashed this country. We were tricked into an unnecessary war, warnings about 9/11 were ignored until it was too late, our reputation is destroyed, the debt is doubled, morale is low. If you want to win again, then start making it worth our while to vote for your candidates. Don’t destroy our countries morale, treasury, reputation and integrity, then call for domestic terrorism after you lose the subsequent election.
Puh-leeze...

You missed the point of Lefty Lib's rather short but precise statement.
Bush said it first, remember?
I would love to see just one statement of fact about an Obama policy that relates directly to a "Marxist Socialism ideology".
Just one.
Don't say "spying on citizens", thats Bush.
Don't say "torture", thats Bush.
Those of us with kids know, it takes ten times longer to clean up a mess that to make one.
The Republics made a mess over the last eight years, remember?
Personally, I don't mind a good laugh, I actually look for those McClame/Phailin stickers...

Please put on whatever stickers you like on the truck, since it really will be helpful for other drivers to know how you think.

I fear too many members of Congress were partying at the frat house - including Nancy Pelosi - when they should have been in economics class.
God help us.

You have become so transparent.
Why do you always take the side of power?
Compensating?

Freedom of speech? That only applies if you agree with them.....if you disagree then you are demonized and belittled, in the very least. Witness the push for the "Fairness" doctrine..where PRIVATELY OWNED radio stations would have to offer "equal" time to persons expousing leftist ideals. Talk radio as it exists is an affront to them. Here is the thing though, as PRIVATE ENTITIES the government should have no business stepping in and telling them they HAVE to show the "other" side. The truthe is the "other" side has NPR, and its venture into left leaning talk radio, Air America, was a financial disaster. Nobody wanted to hear it.
Bottom line..we have the right to express ourselves, even if it doesnt follow current leftist worship of Obama.

Dude, pull your head our of your bumper sticker for a second and realize you are acting just as ideological as the enemies you are portraying others as.
I do not condone the public whiplashing you got, but your public response is equally similar
As for fiscal responsibility, HELLO, McFLY, anyone home? We have no gold standard. There is no consequence to adding zeros in our bank acct. except inflation, and where is inflation now?
