Pancake breakfast

The Greenacres Rural Volunteer Firefighters Association will hold its 20th annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenacres Fire Hall, 93449 Greenacres Lane. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, milk, juice and coffee. Costs $5, $3 children 12 and under.
Wine Walk
April 3
Wine Walk in downtown Coos Bay starts at various locations each month. Commemorative wine glasses are sold for $10 each with proceeds benefiting local nonprofit groups. Lakeside to hold Crawdad Festival
May 8-10
Mark your calendars for the first Lakeside Crawdad Festival.
The three-day event is scheduled to have a crawdad cookoff, Cajun cooking demonstrations, a pancake breakfast and a wine tent. Other events at the festival include a treasure run, Cajun dancing and music as well as a street fair and vendors.
